Almost 40% of our Firewood is currently produced from the surplus wood we get from our tree services, a by-product normally destined for the biomass market. The remaining 60% of our wood comes from local sustainably managed woodland. Meaning our logs have very low environmental impact and promote sustainability.

We offer both seasoned hardwood (normally consisting of mainly ash, oak, birch & beech) and seasoned mixed softwood.

We predominantly sell our firewood in Bulk bags. These bags hold approximately 0.6m3 (85cmx85cmx85cm). Our logs are stored in recycled IBC cages, this allows for more efficient drying times and also means we can keep accurate track of stock. These cages hold approximately 1.2m3 of logs.

We typically season our cordwood for 2-3 years (depending on type). Our logs will have an average moisture content of 20% or less. It is this that means you will get a clean and efficient burn.
